A 100% cotton twill reactive print floral bedding set in the European tradition — the construction that gives the surface its depth and the colour its richness. The twill weave creates a diagonal structure in the fabric that gives it a natural drape and a surface with more body than plain weave cotton. The reactive printing and dyeing process bonds the colour directly to the cotton fibre — the result is a depth and richness of colour that surface printing cannot achieve. The embroidery quilting adds a further layer of craft — the quilting stitches create a dimensional surface texture that reads as considered and precise. Set Configurations

4-Piece Set — The essential configuration: quilt cover, bed sheet, and 2 pillowcases. The complete bed, dressed and finished in the Jacquard Fleuri botanical floral pattern.

6-Piece Set — The 4-piece set plus 2 additional pillowcases — a total of 4 pillowcases. The right choice for a bed with a more layered pillow arrangement, or for households that want spare pillowcases in the same fabric and pattern.

The 13 Colour Styles

Jacquard Fleuri is available in 13 distinct colour stories — each a different rendering of the botanical floral pattern in a different palette. The styles range from warm, celebratory tones (reds, pinks, scarlets) through botanical greens and neutrals to the restrained, considered Grey Duke colourway. Select your style from the colour option when choosing your set. Each style has its own product image — the image shown corresponds to the selected style.

Grey Duke — The most restrained and versatile colourway in the range. The botanical floral pattern in Grey Duke reads as tonal and considered — the embroidery quilting is most visible in this colourway, as the grey palette allows the dimensional surface texture to read clearly. Available in 6-piece set only. Works in rooms with white or light grey walls and contemporary or minimal furniture.

Styling Notes

Making the bed — For a European-style finish, pull the bed sheet taut before placing the quilt cover. The botanical floral reactive print reads best on a smooth, flat surface — the embroidery quilting texture is most visible when the fabric lies flat and undisturbed. Fold the top of the quilt cover back 25–30cm over the duvet insert and position the pillowcases at the head of the bed.

The embroidery quilting — The quilting stitches create a dimensional surface texture that reads as considered and precise. The quilting is most visible in the lighter and more neutral colourways (Grey Duke, beige tones) where the dimensional texture reads clearly against the plain ground. In the richer, more saturated colourways (reds, scarlets), the quilting adds depth and structure to the surface without competing with the colour.

The 6-piece set — With 4 pillowcases, the 6-piece set allows for a full, layered pillow arrangement at the head of the bed. Place 2 pillowcases flat against the headboard and 2 in front — the result is a full, considered pillow wall that reads as complete and hotel-style. The botanical floral pattern reads well in a layered arrangement — the pattern repeats across all 4 pillowcases, creating a cohesive, considered presentation.

Room pairing — The botanical floral pattern works best in rooms with white or cream walls and warm lighting. Keep surrounding textiles simple — plain white or cream throw pillows, no competing patterns. The Jacquard Fleuri botanical floral is the design statement; everything else should step back. For the warmer colourways (reds, pinks, scarlets), use warm-white lighting to bring out the full depth of the reactive print. For the cooler colourways (Grey Duke, greens), natural or cool-white lighting works well.

Lighting — The twill weave and embroidery quilting are most visible in warm, directional light — the diagonal twill structure and the dimensional quilting texture create shadow and depth that flat-woven surfaces don’t have. Position the bed near a window or use warm-white directional lighting to bring out the full quality of the cotton surface and the botanical floral reactive print.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash cold (30°C max) on a gentle cycle — do not use bleach or fabric softener
• Tumble dry low or hang to dry in shade — avoid direct sunlight to preserve the reactive print colour depth
• Iron on medium heat on the reverse side — the twill weave can be ironed directly on low to medium heat; iron the embroidery quilting carefully on low heat from the reverse side
• Wash separately for the first wash to prevent colour transfer
• The reactive print holds its colour and the embroidery quilting retains its structure and definition through regular gentle washing
