Styling Notes

As a bed blanket — Lay the Flanelle flat across the foot of the bed, folded once to show the solid colour and the brushed flannel surface. The solid colour construction reads best on a smooth, flat surface — the clean, uninterrupted tone is most visible and most considered when the fabric lies flat and undisturbed. For full-bed coverage, use the 200×230cm size and allow the blanket to drape evenly over both sides of the bed.

As a sofa throw — Drape loosely over the back or arm of a sofa, allowing the flannel surface to fall naturally. The solid colour reads best when the blanket is partially unfolded — a single fold over the arm of a sofa shows the colour and the brushed finish simultaneously. Use the 150×200cm size for a generous sofa throw.

• Machine wash cold (30°C max) on a gentle cycle — do not use bleach or fabric softener
• Tumble dry low or hang to dry in shade — avoid direct sunlight to preserve the flannel surface and colour depth
• Do not iron directly on the flannel surface — the brushed finish is heat-sensitive and can be flattened at high temperature
• Wash separately for the first wash to prevent colour transfer
• Smooth the surface in a single direction after washing to restore the even, brushed finish
