Styling Notes

Making the bed — For a hotel-style finish, fold the top of the quilt cover back 30cm over the duvet insert and layer the pillowcases at the head of the bed. The embroidered surface reads best on a smooth, flat bed — pull the sheet taut before placing the quilt cover so the embroidery pattern lies flat and the dimensional quality of the needlework is fully visible.

Wedding and celebration styling — The Happy Wedding Series is designed for the bridal bedroom and celebration occasions. For a full bridal bed setup, layer the embroidered set with white or ivory throw pillows and a plain white or cream throw at the foot of the bed. The embroidery pattern is the centrepiece — keep surrounding textiles plain and uncompeting.

Everyday styling — The embroidered cotton construction is durable enough for everyday use. The 60-count twill weave softens with each wash while the embroidery retains its structure and definition. For everyday use, pair with plain white or cream pillowcases and a simple throw in a complementary tone.

Lighting — The embroidered surface reads best in warm, directional light — the raised embroidery thread creates shadow and depth that flat surfaces don’t have. Position the bed near a window or use warm-white lighting to bring out the full dimensional quality of the needlework.
