Length Guide

La Frisée is available from a voluminous 10 inch to a dramatic 24 inch individual length. The kinky curly wave texture adds significant volume at every length — the curl pattern means the actual stretched length is longer than the curl length shown.

Styling Note

La Frisée is designed to be worn with the curl as the entire statement. The kinky curly wave pattern is most voluminous when worn naturally — allow the curl to spring freely without brushing or combing when dry, as brushing will disrupt the curl pattern and create frizz. Finger-detangle only when damp. The human hair construction means La Frisée can be heat-stretched for a different silhouette, or coloured to any desired shade. Use sulphate-free, moisturising products specifically formulated for kinky curly hair to preserve the curl definition and the hair quality.

Care Instructions

• Wash with sulphate-free, moisturising shampoo and cool water — the kinky curly pattern requires moisture to maintain its definition and springiness
• Apply a generous amount of moisturising conditioner from root to ends — the kinky curly texture is the most moisture-hungry texture in the Hairloom collection; deep condition regularly for best results
• Allow to air dry naturally — do not use a hair dryer without a diffuser attachment; the kinky curly pattern will shrink as it dries, which is normal — the curl will spring back to full volume when fully dry
• Detangle with fingers only on damp hair, starting from the ends and working upward — never brush or comb kinky curly hair when dry; this will disrupt the curl pattern and cause frizz
• Store in a silk bag or on a wig stand — the kinky curly pattern is best preserved when stored loosely without compression
• Use a heat protectant before heat-styling — the human hair construction is heat-compatible; stretching or pressing the curl requires a heat protectant to preserve the hair quality
