Vegetable-tanned cowhide is firmer than chrome-tanned leather when new and requires a break-in period of 2–4 weeks of regular wear before it fully moulds to the foot. Size true to your EU size — the leather will ease and conform with wear. Do not size up to compensate for initial stiffness; the boot will stretch to fit.
