Styling Notes

Making the bed — For a luxury finish, lay the Diamant bed cover flat and smooth the diamond velvet pile in a single direction before placing pillowcases. The geometric pile reads best on a smooth, flat surface — the diamond pattern and the directional sheen are most visible and most considered when the fabric lies flat and undisturbed. Position the two pillowcases at the head of the bed, smooth and plump, with well-filled pillow inserts to maintain the shape.

The diamond velvet surface — The geometric cut pile creates a directional sheen — the fabric looks different depending on the angle of the light and the direction of the pile. When making the bed, orient the bed cover so the sheen reads in the same direction as the light source. In warm, directional light, the diamond velvet surface will catch the light and read as genuinely faceted and deep.

• Do not iron directly on the velvet surface — the pile is heat-sensitive and can be flattened at high temperature; iron on low heat on the reverse side only
• Wash separately for the first wash to prevent colour transfer
